Pixel-art tycoon from Germany: build a mining farm, buy power, survive the halvings – with a fictional currency and no ads
Gera, Germany, October 8, 2026 – Christian Berger (VectorAI Beratung & Vertrieb) today releases "Hash Imperium: Mining Tycoon" for Android and iOS. The turn-based business simulation puts players in charge of a mining operation that builds a computing farm for the made-up currency HashCoin at four locations from Texas to Kazakhstan.
Every location has its own power market, climate and rules: cheap coal power in Kazakhstan, geothermal energy and cold air in Iceland, wind and heat waves in Texas, hydropower in Scandinavia. Players buy sites, set up racks from seven hardware generations, negotiate power contracts and decide whether to sell or hold their coins – while prices swing, halvings cut the block reward and 30 world events strike, from an ETF approval to a crypto ban. Emergencies turn into minigames: overclock chips, lay cooling pipes, fight fires, fend off cyber attacks and ransomware.
Rivals are four AI characters with strategies of their own – from the rational number cruncher and the HODLer to the black-hat miner who resorts to sabotage – in three strengths. Up to four people can play against each other on one device. Three game lengths and three victory modes make for games from half an hour to several evenings.
The game comes in 90s-style pixel art: a control room full of life, a synthwave soundtrack, voiced breaking news, cutscenes and an operations manager who guides new players through the tutorial. Options for red-green colour blindness, larger text and reduced motion make it accessible.
